Sound Baffle Assembly
Parts included:
A1 (x2) - inner box wall with slots
A2 (x2) - inner box wall with hooks
B1 (x2) - outer box wall with slots
B2 (x2) - outer box wall with hooks
C - base plate
D - inner lid
E - outer lid
Take one A1 piece with the long slot closest to the shorter edge at the top, insert hooks from an A2 piece and slide to form a corner of the box. Repeat to form the remainder of the box.
Repeat the same box assembly instructions with parts B1 and B2, keeping the slot closest to the shorter edge at the top. When adding the fourth wall (B2) you may need to tilt the partly assembled box forward, insert the hooks into the slots, and then stand the box vertically so the hooks slide into place.
With two hands, lift the smaller box (A1/A2) by grasping the slotted sides from the top and lifting to grooved center place on the bottom plate C. Lifting the slotted sides (A1) will keep the hooks in place. If you lift by the hooked sides (A2), the box will come apart. If you lift from the sides, the box may twist and come apart.
Set the smaller lid D on the interior box so the box walls fit in the grooves.
Repeat the procedure as with the interior box, lifting the larger box (B1/B2) by the slotted sides (B1) so it remains assembled. Lower the outer box into place on the grooved base C. Then place the larger lid E on the outer box so it fits in the grooves.
When transporting the baffle, lift with two hands and carry from the base plate only. Do not lift from the sides or it will come apart.
Fit the base plate over the arc rod so the arc rod goes through the hole in the base C. Center so the arc rod is not touching the baffle directly.
