[FAQs](https://support.biocharger.com/kb/faqs?hsLang=en) # How to Disassemble and Pack the BioCharger Follow these steps to take your BioCharger NG apart so it travels safely. ![The assembled BioCharger NG](https://support.biocharger.com/hubfs/Email%20Images/cover-wide.jpg) You will need - The small wrench from the accessory kit - Packing tape - The white parts box with the blue rubber band - The original boxes 1. ![Step 01: Arc rod or nylon screw](https://support.biocharger.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Email%20Images/step-01.jpg?width=200&height=200&name=step-01.jpg) Step 01 ### Arc rod or nylon screw Unscrew the brass arc rod or black nylon screw from the top cover by hand. Place it in the white box with the blue rubber band. 7. ![Step 07: Tubes, then carousel](https://support.biocharger.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Email%20Images/step-07.jpg?width=200&height=200&name=step-07.jpg) Step 07 ### Tubes, then carousel Lift the spectrum tubes out one at a time and return each to its box. Then lift the empty carousel up and over the secondary coil. Handle the tubes with care — touching the glass is fine. 8. ![Step 08: Secondary coil](https://support.biocharger.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Email%20Images/step-08.jpg?width=200&height=200&name=step-08.jpg) Step 08 ### Secondary coil Unscrew the tall red secondary coil from the bolt in the centre of the base. Hold the coil only by its grey ends — never touch the red coating. 9. ![Step 09: Wi-Fi adapter](https://support.biocharger.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Email%20Images/step-09.jpg?width=200&height=200&name=step-09.jpg) Step 09 ### Wi-Fi adapter Unplug the USB Wi-Fi adapter from the port under the red emergency stop button. Place it in the white box with the blue rubber band. 10. ![Step 10: Power cords](https://support.biocharger.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Email%20Images/step-10.jpg?width=200&height=200&name=step-10.jpg) Step 10 ### Power cords Unplug the power cords from the back of the base. 11. ![Step 11: Tape the grounding strip](https://support.biocharger.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Email%20Images/step-11.jpg?width=200&height=200&name=step-11.jpg) Step 11 ### Tape the grounding strip Tape down the metal grounding strip on the base with three pieces of tape so it can't move in transport.
