# How to "restore default" (reset wireless) on your BioCharger

Below is a video that will show you how to restore the factory wireless settings. This will allow you to configure your BioCharger to connect to a wireless network:

1. Click on the 'Setup' button on your BioCharger
2. Click on the 'Restore default' button in the upper left corner
3. Click OK
4. If the biocharger\_default network does not appear: Turn off your BioCharger with the switch on the back, wait until the blinking cursor disappears, and turn on your BioCharger again
5. Proceed with [Wifi Connectivity](https://50819489.hs-sites.com/kb/connecting-your-biocharger-to-your-wireless-wifi-network?hsLang=en)

 

Clicking the 'Restore default' button will perform two functions on your BioCharger NG:

1\) It will erase your current WiFi settings and disconnect your BioCharger NG from your current WiFi network. If you need to re-establish your WiFi connectivity, those instructions are linked below

2\) It will rename your BioCharger NG to the default name of “biocharger” instead of the name you may have changed it to previously

 

Restoring your default settings is not something you should have to do often, if at all.
